Cookies in practice
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store. They help a site remember that you are signed in or that you saved something. Higher-Study is operated by Allied Biztech Solutions Private Limited, which is responsible for the cookies described here.
Higher-Study sets two essential cookies. The astra_session cookie keeps you signed in after you enter your access code; it cannot be read by page scripts and expires when you sign out or after at most 8 hours. The astra_decision cookie is set only if you save a decision scenario without signing in, so you can return to it on the same device; it cannot be read by page scripts and lasts up to 90 days.
Higher-Study does not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. To understand how the service is used, our own pages keep a random visit reference, the page you arrived on and any campaign tags in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy before doing so.
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies stops sign-in and saved scenarios from working, but you can still read public pages. Signing out removes the sign-in cookie straight away, and clearing site data removes the saved scenario cookie.
